Bradley Miller – Client Services Assistant

The expert at anything was once a beginner. This time, I’m the beginner and I’m embarking on my career in the Financial Services industry.

Finding the right career path has never been crystal clear for me. Despite this, I have always endeavoured to be the best at what I do and take pride in my work, whether that is serving Flat Whites to the early gym goers or managing a department at a top-end retailer. So, I decided to make the great leap and begin a career in wealth management. I chose wealth management, not only for the long-term progression it offers but because I have been inspired by my sister’s success in the profession. I have now been working at Capital for a short while and I am very happy to say that taking a risk and leaving behind what I know has completely paid off, as scary as it was.

I am fascinated by the science of investing and the difference great financial planning can make to people’s lives. Meeting and hosting clients every day, as well as learning from the in-house experts the unique way that Capital approaches financial planning, makes me feel enormously satisfied and privileged.

Outside of work, I enjoy nights out in the City during the week (Madison’s Rooftop being a favourite) and quieter days out in the English countryside of Kent, where I commute from. I admire the luxury of fast cars and although my black Audi A1 may not be quite as gripping as an RS5, everything I own I highly regard and I’m forever buying new car cleaning equipment.

I enjoy fitness and cross country running, which I started when I left secondary school. On the flipside of this, I am gradually becoming a world history enthusiast (20th Century) and find all eras captivating, from the First World War to the surreal lives of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. I adore music and the way a soundtrack creates an entire feel and tone to a film. My perfect night in would involve sitting back and enjoying my Lana Del Rey vinyl records, where her music is cinematic and divine in her very own way.

I look forward to developing skills in my finance career and implementing innovative ways to improve our client’s experience. Watch this space. And next time you visit us at College Hill, do say hi!
