Capital is very proud to announce that James Greenly has been listed for the second year in a row in ‘The Top 35 Next Generation Advisers of 2017’ by Citywire.

James has been a valuable member of the Capital team since he joined in October 2015 after deciding to relocate from Norfolk to London.

James began his career in the financial planning profession at the early age of 16, when he got his first job as an administrator for a local independent financial adviser firm in Norwich, his home town, where he worked for serval year and became a consultant.

“Before I started my career, I didn’t know I wanted to work as a financial planner, nor did I have any knowledge about the industry. However, I knew I wanted to do something that involved working closely with people to help change their lives for the better”

Capital is always keen to encourage our team members to be the best they can be and invests significantly in the development of our people, so that we can ensure the delivery of a gold standard service to our client families.

Since joining Capital, James has lived out this core value through his constant dedication to his studies, and over the last two years he has qualified to Chartered Financial Planner status with the Personal Finance Society and has just been awarded his Investment Management Certificate through the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.

James is a fully qualified financial planner looking after 50 families with Capital.

James fully embraces Capital’s purpose to make a difference and to enhance people’s lives, to provide security, financial independence, and freedom from worry. Not only with the clients at Capital, but through his volunteer work with Citizens Advice Bureau in Southwark, where he helps disadvantaged people with pension guidance.

James is becoming more involved in the business, taking on asset allocation, cash flow planning, fund selection, portfolio construction and research responsibilities. This work has led to him winning the peer-assessed MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the quarter four times since being with Capital.

I hope you will join Capital in saying congratulation to James on being listed in the ‘Top 35 Next Generation Advisers of 2017’ and on his 10-year anniversary in the financial planning profession.

Capital is always on the search for talented individuals ready to take the financial planning world by storm. If you know anyone interested in joining our dynamic and friendly team please send an email with a CV and cover letter to sophie@capital.co.uk.
